Jimi Alida

A mountain biker, snowboarder, former ballet dancer, and all-around athlete, Jimi Alida has had a lifelong passion for movement. Upon discovering Pilates, she found within the method a way to not only to exercise, but also a tool to keep her body performing at its finest.  Already a certified trainer by the American College of Sports Medicine, she was eager to expand her knowledge of human anatomy and kinesiology for both herself and her clients. She completed her own comprehensive study with Polestar Pilates and became a certified instructor in 2009.  Since then, she enjoys working with a very diverse range of clientele, from injury rehab to athletic training. “Pilates,” she says, “has a place for everyone.”
